Everything before the quote

Good questions deserve clear answers.

01What makes RoastAroma different from another coffee cart?

RoastAroma brings coffee roasting, café and event experience into one service. We roast the specialty coffee, prepare the espresso water, set up the café and make every drink to order.

02What can guests order?

The core event menu includes Double Espresso, Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Flat White and Toasted Chocolate with mini toasted marshmallows. Iced coffee and other cold drinks, Matcha and oat milk can be added to your event quote.

03Is every drink made to order?

Yes. Guests order from the confirmed event menu and the barista prepares each drink during service. RoastAroma does not arrive with urn coffee prepared in advance.

04Why does RoastAroma bring water for espresso?

Every espresso is mostly water. We start with distilled water and add a measured mineral profile for espresso instead of relying on venue tap water, giving the coffee a controlled foundation for extraction.

05What espresso equipment do you bring?

We use a dual-boiler, PID-controlled La Marzocco espresso machine and a high-output Mahlkönig grinder. The system is prepared for consecutive drinks so brewing, steaming and grinding can continue when orders arrive together.

06What happens when several guests order at once?

Event orders often arrive in a wave. We review headcount, timing, placement and menu before the event, then prepare the equipment and service flow around that room. We do not publish a generic drinks-per-hour promise because every menu and venue is different.

07What is included in the staffed coffee cart service?

This is complete specialty coffee catering, including planning, the RoastAroma cart, a professional barista, fresh-roasted coffee, the core menu, prepared espresso water, milk, selected café syrups, cups, supplies, setup, live service and cleanup. Quote-specific menu, travel, power and branding needs are shown separately.

08What does the venue need to provide?

We bring the water used to make the espresso. Before confirming service, we review the access route, working footprint, suitable power, placement and any additional venue sanitation requirements.

09Are you insured?

Yes. RoastAroma carries $2M commercial general liability insurance. We provide a certificate of insurance for your venue or building on request, and can add additional-insured naming where it is required.

10Can you provide oat milk or accommodate dietary needs?

Barista oat milk can be added to the event menu. Tell us about dietary needs before service so we can confirm ingredients and explain cross-contact limits accurately.

11Can the coffee cart serve outdoors?

Outdoor service can be planned when access, stable placement, suitable power, cover and a workable weather plan are available. We review the site before confirming the service plan.

12How is the event quote calculated?

The instant quote uses your event type, date, venue, headcount, service time, power access, travel and selected menu choices. You see the complete service and a subtotal before HST before deciding.

13Where does RoastAroma serve?

RoastAroma serves events across Toronto and the GTA from our Ajax roastery. Venue-specific travel is calculated in the personalized quote.

14How far ahead should we book?

Send the event details once the date and venue are taking shape. Service is confirmed only after we review availability and logistics.

15Can the cart be branded?

Yes. Cups, menus and agreed cart surfaces can be planned through the Branded Coffee Cart service. Ordinary corporate hospitality can also add selected branded touchpoints to its quote.

16Do you offer coffee cart rental or barista-only hire?

RoastAroma coffee cart rental is offered only as a complete staffed espresso bar catering service. It includes the coffee, commercial equipment, supplies, setup, live service and cleanup. We do not provide equipment-only rental or standalone barista hire.

17Is event catering the same as Office Coffee service?

No. Coffee cart catering is a staffed café for a fixed-date event. Office Coffee is for workplaces that need freshly roasted coffee supplied on an ongoing basis. Explore RoastAroma Office Coffee service.
